(above and below) Pictures from the Lynton & Lynmouth game at the Valley of the Rocks - 1993

Unfortunately the pictures do not do this venue justice - it is simply the most picturesque ground that I have ever played on....shame we were a pile of shite and got hammered meaning that we'll never go back again.
In the picture above you will see Roll On sprinting athletically (hehehe) to collect the ball at square leg whilst Scoop has his hands in his pockets at gulley.
In the picture below you will see a familiar picture of a batsmen launching into Fat Blokes bowling whilst Alien sticks his arse out from first slip at the spectators, Nigel running towards the pavillion because he thought someone had said that there was a spare scone and Stick doing a fine impression of the worlds first white Ethiopian.....

(above and below) Iver Heath pavillion destroyed by arsonists 1992

This was the scene that confronted us on a Saturday morning in early May just before the season was due to start. I don't know...the things some people will do to get out of pitch preparation....
As far as I know, no-one was ever caught for this but in some ways they did us a favour as it meant that the council finally invested some money into improving the facilities at the club including, of course, relaying the famous Iver Heath wicket !

KC relaxing after a hard day being injured 1992

Before viewers of the site start to question the sexuality of certain "members" of the club, let me explain that this is part of a set of photo's - a Before and After series. The pic above is the Before picture.....before the alcoholically comatosed KC was covered in shaving foam, toothpaste, hair gel and (almost) anything else we could lay our hands on.
Bless him - he didn't even so much as stir whilst we performed this human vandalism on him. Apparently - and this is a tip for all the site visitors - Mendadent P toothpaste is a real bugger to get off your nipples first thing in the morning. Ho hum.

Fat Bloke, Fatter Bloke, Old Bloke and Opposition Bloke leaving the field at Morebath 1991

This is the promised action shot of Arthur Kenward but having studied the picture more closely I do believe that he isn't actually walking from the field of play having stubbornly padded it out for a draw but I think that he's actually nodded off on the boundary edge in all his kit !
